What to Expect:

Anyone new to our gym will need to sign up for an free consult. This is whether you are a new to CrossFit or a veteran CrossFitter. This consult is so that we can meet you, learn about you, your goals and what matters to you, as well as for you to meet us, to see if our gym is a good fit for you! During our consult we will also give you a tour of the gym and discuss the best steps for you going forward.

New to CrossFit?

If you are new to CrossFit, you are in the right place! Our goal as a gym is to be the most welcoming gym in the world, so this consult is utmost important to welcome you in :). Anyone new to CrossFit will need to attend 1-3 Fundamentals Sessions. One option is attend our 730pm Fundamentals Class on Monday Nights or to schedule a few 1on1’s with our coaching staff. The 700pm Class is covered within your monthly membership dues. The 1on1’s will be $65/session (+tax). Anyway that works for you is great and as we started, the 700pm Monday Night option is not an extra charge AND you can attend this class the whole first month that you are with us (and by request, you can attend this class if you need a refresher after your first month). The 1on1’s can be scheduled during the week or weekend, depending on what times work for you and our coaches (scheduling these sessions between class times is ideal, but we are flexible). Do you have 6mo+ CrossFit Experience?

We still want to meet you 25+ min before class to get to know you, show you around and set you up! If you are wanting to try out class before deciding to join, you are more than welcome to pay for a Drop In ($25/+tax) for that class and if you decide to sign up for a membership after that class, we will deduct that drop in fee from your first months membership. What is CrossFit: 

CrossFit is a combination of Olympic weightlifting (strength), body weight movements (gymnastics) and metabolic conditioning (endurance). Classes start with a strength component (low intensity) and end with a high intensity workouts. We blend strength training with circuit training, safely. Crossfit is the best way to build a well rounded physique with strong lean muscle. you will see such incredible changes to your strength levels, Your ability to not be as winded with exercise and daily life, Your waist line and your overall happiness.

CrossFit is a Fitness Community

For the general population you would consider running on the treadmill for 30 minutes "Cardio". The difference is running on the treadmill for 30 minutes doesn't help you burn calories for 48 hours. With our circuit training, "CrossFit" you'll tap in to what is called EPOC (Excessive Post Oxygen Consumption). Exercise that consumes more oxygen burns more calories!  In fact when doing CrossFit you will continue to burn calories (body consuming oxygen to recover) for up to 48 hrs after you leave. Circuit training and heavy resistance training with short rest intervals require ATP from the anaerobic pathways, leading to a significant EPOC effect! We can promise you this, once you start CrossFit you will surely never go back! We are a team who encourages and supports one another. Much like a sports team. You will leave everyday looking forward to the next. Eager to conquer the next workout!

We all chose CrossFit for different reasons. Some of us may choose it so that we can be quicker more explosive with sports outside the gym, or even for total body transformation. Some choose it so that they can eat what they want and enjoy the foods they love. But most choose it because they love the results and want to live a healthier life style.

What does each class look like?

Much like personal training, You have a certified coach with you during the whole hour. Your coach will instruct the class through warm-up, strength, the workout and how to cool down. Everyday you come in, you will be reminded of the proper technique for all the movements and ways to modify for safety. You will never be left alone and you will always be corrected and instructed. Safety is our number one focus during class. We create the best programs each day, so that it is efficient, effective, fun and safe. It is very rare to see a repeat workout though when they show up, its intentionally to test your growth and improvement from the previous time!

This is 45 minutes small group coaching session of 1-4 new members, where we will teach you the 9 foundational movements in CrossFit and more. During this session we will dial In your Form, Technique and help you to fully understand the Proper Positioning with each Barbell Movement.
We have 2 Fundamentals Classes on the schedule for current members their first month at the gym.

Meet our Personal Trainer Emily!

Hello! My name is Emily Emery and I am very passionate about fitness and health! I love to share my passion with others and help them reach their goals, whatever they may be.

I started as a high school and collegiate swimmer and coached several swim teams. From there I was introduced to CrossFit and weightlifting and powerlifting, and my passion for fitness grew. I loved it so much I wanted to become a personal trainer so I could help other people reach their fitness goals and hopefully enjoy it as much as I do!

Over the years l've done many triathlons, runs, bodybuilding competitions, CrossFit competitions and had a great time riding the Seattle to Portland One Day bike ride with a client.

Whether it's weight loss, recovering from an injury, a physical challenge or simply just wanting to be able to move better and be healthier, I can help you get there....I promise you will have fun with me along the way!

1 am a certified NASM personal trainer since 2012.
